Thermography
What is thermography ?
Thermography is a technique for recording the temperature of objects and materials using infrared radiation. Infrared cameras capture the temperature of the surfaces being examined at different points and represent these measurements as a color image called a thermogram.
Uses of Thermal Imaging in Residential Buildings
- Detect air and water leaks
- Identify insulation defects or missing insulation
- Locate wet or damp materials
- Visualize thermal bridges
- Identify electrical hot spots
